10. Asynchronous processors (a.k.a. the Clockless CPU)

A technology of the 90’s was no music to ears. Modification and debugging of the processor were no fun. External clocked components were not available. As expectations rose with Clockless CPU’s to provide low power computing, it hardly lived to meet them.

9. SIRI

Pay-for-Service did not very well with consumers of Sirius XM Radio, with its listeners and buyers plummeting by the hour. Innumerable measures to revive the business model did not add much and Sirius Satellite Radio struggled to show a profit. With entry of iPads and iPods the future looks much more grim and bleak.
