She was appointed the CEO of Archer Daniels Midland in 2007. In 2009, she was declared the third most powerful woman by Fortune magazine.

Ellen Kullman, 58

Chairperson, President and CEO , DuPont

Ellen Kullman started off with General Electric and joined DuPont in 1988. She was serving as the Executive Vice President of DuPont before her appointment as CEO. She has served in Board of directors of General Motors from 2004 to 2008. She was number 4 in the Forbes magazine’s 100 Most Powerful Women in 2011.

Carol Meyrowitz, 59

Carol Meyrowitz joined TJX Companies in 1983. She served the the company in various capacities including advisory role and a senior vice president. She became the president of the company in 2005, was appointed to the board of directors in 2006. She was declared the CEO of the company on 28th January 2007. Forbes magazine ranks her as the 24th most powerful woman in the world.
