Men Buy More Insurance Online than Women

Bangalore: According to a survey by PolicyBazaar, more number of men buy insurance online when compared to women, as reported by Sakina Babwani of the ET Bureau.
According to statistics, in the past 3 months, 98.1 percent of insurance seekers online were men, while only a mere 1.9 percent were women. The study indicated that residents of metro cities actively visited insurance portals when compared to non-metro cities. A whopping 59 percent of online visitors were from the metro cities, while a poor 19 percent attendance was recorded in non-metro cities. The remaining 21 percent of visitors were from smaller towns and cities.
