2. Great wall of China: stretching from Shanhaiguan in the east, to Lop Lake in the west. The Great Wall of China is a sequence of walls running in the east to west direction through the entire northern part of China. This awesome architecture is built of brick, stone, tamped earth, wood, and other materials. It was initially built to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire or its classic states against interruptions by various wandering groups or military attack by various hostile forces. This wonder was also more popular among Indians, as 45 percent of the Indians in the survey said that they have visited The Great Wall of China.

3. Christ the redeemer of Brazil: The largest Art Deco statue in the world and the fifth largest statue of Jesus across the globe is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The statue of Christ the redeemer is built of reinforced concrete and soapstone and the construction of the statue was done between 1922 and 1931. This marvelous statue of Christ was listed as the seven wonders in the world few years ago on 7th July, 2007 by the Swiss-based The New Open World Corporation. This statue is an icon for Rio de Janerio and Brazil.
