Antarctic 100k Ultra Race

The Antarctic 100k ultra race is also known as Antarctic Ice Marathon. It takes place at 80 degrees south, just a few hundred miles from South Pole at the base of Ellsworth Mountains. This race involves running 100 km in minus degree temperature and the heavy blowing wind with decreases the temperature and makes it even more difficult to run. Furthermore, the event takes place at an altitude of 3,000 feet.
