Two- Wheeler Sales Goes Up



K.Srinivas, President, Bajaj Auto Motorcycle business said, “We will continue with our focused approach as a motorcycle specialist. This is what has enabled us to become the second largest bike-maker in India and the third largest in the world.” He also added, “We also continue to be the most profitable motorcycle manufacturer in the world.”

Bajaj reaffirmed its position as the second largest two wheeler manufacturer in India.  At this Srinivas said, “We would like to place on record that for the month of April, we continue to be the second-largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India and have a significant lead over the third-largest manufacturer.”

TVS Motor Company Limited closed with 7 percent increase in sales volume in the domestic market, as it registered 151,181 units sale. Along with the exports the company made total sales of 174,455 units which mark a rise of 4 percent.

Other then these brands there are few brands like Honda and Suzuki also experienced a growth in sales. Honda motor and Scooter India observed a 46 percent sales increase at 198,831 units. Suzuki Motorcycle confirmed rise in sales by 4.34 percent with 30,635 units.
