While reviving his memories, he said that at the age of six he was admitted to the Barnes School in Devlali all thanks to his mother’s determination. As she requested the principal to meet her children and sat outside his house every day until he was conceded.

So along with his other siblings he was admitted to the school with full scholarship. At this Shiknis says, “I never stood second in class ever since. I still hold the record in my school as the highest mark earner.” He pursued his graduation from Symbiosis University, Pune and further received his MBA degree from NMIMS, Mumbai. Later he joined an advertising agency named Saatchi and Saatchi.

He earned rapid promotions in the company because of his outstanding performance but after four years he left the resigned to start something known as Theory M, which was India’s first company that would address to the lack of customer intercession in India.
