In 2010, Amanda met Mike and Kevin to discuss about their new photo sharing app Burbn. They wanted her to be their first hire. She liked the idea and the team but chose to stick with Zynga where she worked as a lead engineer. She wanted to work on something more complex so she stuck to gaming.
Her miss has now costed her Millions as Burbn later on turned into Instagram. ‘I'm kicking myself now.’ says Amanda. She is successful enough being one of the earliest hires of Zynga but a stint with Instagram could have made her much richer.
