2. Right to freedom: Recently Salman Rushdie's controversial video address to the Jaipur Literary Fest in India was cancelled. This demonstrates that the threat of violence has restrained freedom of speech and expression. Likewise, there are many films that are also banned in India due to threat of violence like the 2004 movie “Hava Aney Dey” was banned in India for showing inter-communal tension, the 1996 release Fire was banned for religious insensitivity. The 1992 film “City of Joy” was banned in Calcutta for showing the city in a bad light. Prakash Jha’s latest release “Aarakshan” was also banned in three states because of its discriminatory language that may cause protest.

3. Right against exploitation: Some wealthy tourists violated the right against exploitation by bribing the policemen to force the women of “Jawara tribe” to dance naked in front of them for amusement. This obnoxious and disgusting incident depicts that how people in India are still devoid of this right.
