CCI had reviewed a case against Google in 2011, which was filed by Eximorp India Pvt Ltd alleging Google of abusing its dominance in the internet. The company claimed that Google’s business policies relevant to AdWords were not ethical and its procedure of bidding the plots for advertisements was not transparent enough. Eximorp had also blamed Google of not providing lucid records for visitor information. CCI later ruled over Eximorp’s accusations due to insufficient evidence.
