Documenting your boss behavior will give you a result of how bad and abusive he/she is. This will make you realize how you have to deal with him. Mostly the bosses use dirty language in an isolated atmosphere like their cabin so that they are in the good books of their higher official. If it's like you are the only target in the office it would become hard for you to even lodge a complaint. So making notes and detailing the incidents would give to ideas how to tackle the situations too. This adds as a proof when you complain. Moreover the companies should bring out policies where abuse and harassment punishments are specified.
