Yeddyurappa Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa was sent to judicial custody recently on corruption charges. Immediately, he complained of chest pain and was shifted from Jail to Hospital. After being treated in the ICU of Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology for a day, the doctors attending to Yeddyurappa declared him fit and he was discharged, after an angiogram revealed no significant blockages in his arteries. The former CM then shifted himself to a government run general hospital. He finally returned to Jail on 19th, and is supposed to be there until November 2. One wonders which other hospitals Yeddyurappa has in mind for the next 10 days.
