Facebook's Advertising Business is a Mess

“Facebook just doesn't seem to care. They're still trying to grow this thing. The question is do they want the big bucks?” says David Smith, CEO of Mediasmith.

If we compare Facebook with Google, Google has a perfect ad product which is the ad search; it is perfect because people who pay for these ads know that the audience actually wishes to view the ads.

It also allows the consumers to view the entire details of the products which the company provides. In contrast, Facebook has chosen to stick to the old-fashioned way of displaying the ads.

What Facebook does is vaguely use the procedure used for ad commercials on TV, that is to sells ads targeted depending upon the people who will want to view them.

The only advantage that Facebook has over the TV ads is that it can provide more information to its advertisers about the audience who would view their ads.
