Magdeburg Water Bridge, located in Magdeburg, Germany, is the world's largest water bridge with 918 m long, 34 m wide and 4.25 m deep. The bridge basically looks like a canal, forming a water intersection that is the biggest water crossing in Europe. The bridge connects the Elbe-Havel Canal to the Mittelland Canal, and allows ships to cross over the Elbe River. And it shortens travel times for ships and eases traffic on other routes.
