The six largest U.S. trade book publishers have turn down Amazon. So Amazon made a move towards another set of publishers that are smaller than the other six. Even though Amazon selected the books from the publishers who refused to show any interest with the kindle lending library. The authors association said that the company is using its money power which will not hamper their terms of contract with the publishers. Amazon have a made a decision that they don't need the permission of the publishers as the company pays a wholesale price of the books that Amazon's prime customers download. Taking this payment for granted, amazon has declared to sell the e-books at their own prices or even in free as long as the publishers are paid, authors guild said.
