8 Desi Celebrities Who Ended Life Abruptly
Parveen Babi
Parveen Babi was an actress, who was most remembered for her glamorous roles in 1970s and 80s. Some of her blockbusters are ‘Deewar, ‘Namak Halal’, ‘Amar Akhbar Anthony’, and ‘Shaan’. She was the only child of her family, and lost her father at the age of 7.
She started her modeling career in 1972 and entered film industry in 1973. She was rumoured to have had affair with many married man, such as Mahesh Bhatt’, Kabir Bedi and Denny Denzongpa.
On January 22, 1995, she was found dead in her Mumbai apartment, after her residential secretary informed the police that she had not collected milk and newspapers from her doorstep for three days. The cause of her death was not immediately known but police suspected that she died almost 72 hours before the body was found. But later it was confirmed that she died because of heavy Diabetes.
