Olympic medalist PV Sindhu invests an unrevealed sum in Active-Health Startup 'Hoop'
India’s first wellness startup focused for an active lifestyle, Hoop has secured an unrevealed amount of investment from PV Sindhu Olympic medalist. This seems like an equity against the brand awareness as the vital badminton champion has also teamed up a brand ambassador of Hoop.
Earlier, the Gurugram-based startup has secured $100,000 in the month of January in 2023 from the grant round. The startup Hoop has been a segment of the Spark program of Peak XV and is nurtured by key angel investors including Rohit Kapoor, Abhinav Sinha, Naiyya Saggi, Suhail Sameer, Shantanu Deshpande and others. 
Established in the year 2022 by Twinkle Uppal & Saharsh Agarwal, Hoop presents a range of natural products for contemporary pain relief, sleep support and muscle recovery. Their recovery and relief products are obtainable on its official website and also in the market.
Similar to its monthly transactions and total revenue, the startup haven’t disclosed the amount of investment received but it shares that it has users more than 1000 cities in India. 
In the month of January, Sindhu had infused an unrevealed amount in Better Nutrition, a bio-fortified staples brand from Greenday. She has infused over 12 brands such as car unicorn Spinny and Bridgestone, manufacturing company. 
As per the market reports, the market of consumer wellness products currently clocks $20 billion in India growing at a range of 15% yearly.
