Hexagon launches Startup Catalyst Program in India
Hexagon's R&D Center in India has introduced the Startup Catalyst Program, catering to startups engaged in Digital Reality and Autonomous Technologies. This initiative offers startups an exciting opportunity to apply their innovations and expertise to address specific real-world challenges in these domains. With Hexagon's support, these startups can develop comprehensive solutions and deliver them to customers in India and worldwide. T-Hub, recognized as the world's largest incubation hub, is collaborating to launch this program, leveraging its insights into the Indian startup ecosystem, established practices, and processes to foster, steer, and enhance the program's effectiveness.
Hexagon's technology is utilized by prominent corporations, government and defense agencies for critical operations, manufacturing, smart city development, automotive, shipbuilding, mining, agriculture, and heritage monument preservation, among other sectors. As a leader in Digital Reality and Autonomous Technologies, Hexagon boasts a diverse global customer base, providing valuable insights into these fields' current and emerging challenges.
If a submission and credentials stand out, the startup will become part of a select group of startups to develop a comprehensive proof of concept (PoC). During this phase, each startup will receive guidance from a mentor. The winning startup from each group will receive an award and the opportunity to collaborate with Hexagon's domain experts on futuristic technologies and platforms, working towards full-scale solutions. These collaborative solutions can then be presented to Hexagon's customer base and expanded to different regions.
Navaneet Mishra, Senior Vice President and Head of Hexagon’s R&D Center India, stated, "Indian startups are known for their passion, tech-savviness, and strong work ethic. Through Hexagon’s Startup Catalyst Program, we aim to focus their energies and efforts on well-defined real-world challenges. We will provide them with state-of-the-art technology platforms, mentors to facilitate co-solutions, and access to a global customer base. Our goal is to assist Indian startups in taking their innovations to a global scale, and this program marks a significant step in that journey".
