Chennai-based Startup Rocketlane drops Rap-Song to highlight its Funding needs
Rocketlane, a Chennai-based SAAS start-up, declared its Series-B funding of $24 million. Just, the organization didn't give a public statement or make a common declaration via virtual entertainment. It delivered a rap-song with a music video.
Rocketlane employee and Chennai-based rapper Rahul Sridhar performs on the office floor in the music video for the song "I Like B," whose title refers to the most recent funding round. He also revisits the Rocketlane story. From beginning as an on-boarding apparatus and the organization's development during the beginning up winter, to winning the ‘Emerging Start-up Of the Year 2023’ award at SAASBoomi and the huge financing declaration, the rap-melody recaps everything.
Expressing to this, the Co-Founder and CEO of Rocketlane, Srikrishnan Ganesan says, "We knew very early on in our journey that we wanted to do justice to our product by making noise in marketing. Last time I built a start-up, nobody knew the company," he adds, with a laugh, "We slogged, but didn't make enough marketing noise; so, now we decided that in order to be world-class, our marketing needs to do justice to our product."
Srikrishnan Ganesan further adds, “So the suprising potential was the reception for these rap-tuned videos, that Rocketlane then took the informed decision to utilize them as their Zoom 'waiting room' videos before starting presentations. And yes It worked. The impact and effect of having a high-quality video production worked well with our users”
