“We are sad to announce that Convore will be shutting down on April 1st. We are closing the site in order to focus our time and energy on working on Grove-hosted IRC for teams. We built Grove based on the lessons we learned with Convore and to better fit the needs of our business customers,” was the statement on the website of Convore.
Convore was launched in February 2011 by Leah Culver, Eric Florenzano and Eric Maguire as a web-based tool that later on expanded to the iPhone. It offered the ability to create public or private groups for real-time messaging and sharing of images.
