Suzlon Group Secures 551.25 MW Wind Power Project from Aditya Birla Group
Suzlon Group announced that it has secured a substantial order for a 551.25 MW wind power project from the Aditya Birla Group. This project will be executed across two sites in India, specifically in the Barmer district of Rajasthan and the Bhuj district of Gujarat.
The project entails the development of 368.55 MW in Barmer by Suzlon and 182.70 MW in Bhuj by the Aditya Birla Group. The power generated from these sites will be utilized for captive consumption within the Aditya Birla Group companies, enhancing their energy sustainability.
Suzlon will install a total of 175 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. In addition to the installation, Suzlon will also provide operations and maintenance services post-commissioning, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of the wind power installations.
