Diwali and Firecrackers Over the Years!

The Snake Cracker
The purpose behind creating this cracker is still seen very vague. Nothing about this cracker impressed anyone who used it. And calling it a fire cracker itself was strange as it did nothing what a normal crackers does. The Snake Cracker came in the form of a tablet which had to be lit. Once it was lit long snake would emerge from it accompanied with a lot of smoke. All that this cracker did was cause a lot of air pollution which led the government to ban these crackers.

Atom Bombs
If you are wondering when we ever got Atom bombs for Diwali, well these aren’t those ones. These atom bombs are a type of cracker that was extremely popular during the 1990’s. The problem that these crackers posed was the noise pollution that it caused. Over the past few years even if the cracker doesn’t cause destruction but crosses a particular decibel level it would be banned by the government.
