Capgemini and NSEZ Launch Advanced Skilling Center in Uttar Pradesh
Capgemini, in partnership with the Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ), has launched an innovative Center of Excellence in Skilling in Uttar Pradesh, marking a significant initiative in fostering digital literacy and skill development in India. This state-of-the-art center, located in Noida, features cutting-edge facilities including classrooms, a computer lab, counseling areas, and a STEM lab equipped with Coding, Tinkering, and Robotics facilities. Aimed at government schoolteachers and students, the center creates a conducive environment for learning and innovation.
The collaboration aims to address unemployment and enhance digital skills among youths, particularly focusing on socially and economically disadvantaged communities, women, and individuals with special needs. The center will offer specialized training in emerging technologies such as Generative AI, robotics, Fintech, and more. Annually, Capgemini plans to train 1000 young aspirants through curated short-term and long-term courses in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, thereby boosting employability in IT, ITeS, and Fintech sectors.

The collaboration involves contributions from various partners including SAP, Nasscom Foundation, YES Foundation, SRF Foundation, AADHAR, EduBridge, and The Innovation Story, underscoring a collective effort towards skill development and digital empowerment.
