Ambuja Cements and ACC Limited, integral parts of the Adani Group’s portfolio, announced their latest commitment to revolutionizing the construction landscape through a suite of advanced digital initiatives. The companies are leveraging state-of-the-art technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), video analytics, and optimization tools to drive innovation in the cement and building materials sector.

At the core of this digital transformation is the NexGen Sales and Reward Platform, a groundbreaking digital ecosystem. This platform is designed to foster seamless collaboration among customers, channel partners, retailers, influencers, and sales associates by streamlining coordination and operations using a modern technology stack. The aim is to standardize and simplify business processes, thereby significantly improving outcomes for both internal teams and external collaborators.
In addition to enhancing sales and collaboration, Ambuja Cements and ACC are embarking on the ‘Plants of the Future’ programme. This initiative is set to digitally transform manufacturing processes, aiming to improve production quality while reducing costs. Key features of this programme include the integration of robotics for automation, automated weighbridges, in-plant automation, automated quality testing, robotic process automation for plant shutdown management, and the use of drones for maintenance activities.
By collaborating with the Adani Group’s AI Labs, Ambuja and ACC are set to harness the power of AI through the integration of advanced AI models, including Generative AI capabilities. These enhancements also involve video-based analytics and optimizer functionalities, all of which are expected to elevate the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations.
Furthermore, the companies are advancing their logistics and fleet management capabilities through the overhaul of vehicle tracking and transportation management systems. This initiative aims to optimize logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and better resource management across their extensive supply network.
The combined efforts of Ambuja Cements, its subsidiaries ACC Ltd. and Sanghi Industries Ltd., have expanded Adani Group’s cement capacity to 78.9 million tonnes per annum (MTPA), with 18 integrated cement manufacturing plants and 19 cement grinding units spread across India. ACC alone boasts 20 cement manufacturing sites, over 82 concrete plants, and a comprehensive network of channel partners dedicated to serving a nationwide customer base.
