LG's Wine: The New Android Flip Phone to Launch in India


BENGALURU: Good news to every one who loves to carry a flip phone. Unlike the latest Smartphone every individual carry now, flip phone once used to be the style statement in gadgets. Now flip phones are no more in the scene, but the recent news released by LG suggests that everyone’s favorite flip model is coming back in to stores with all new look and all new specifications, reports Hindustan Times.

LG Wine is going to be the latest Android flip phone it is planning to roll out soon. This hybrid Smartphone will have latest apps, a 3.2-inch touch screen as well as the traditional type pad. It also has the connectivity Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G/LTE with a memory expansion via MicroSD card.

LG Wine will have two cameras that are rear and a front camera, whereas the rear camera will be of 3 Megapixels. It has the latest Android Lollipop version in it, LG’s Wine is going to launch in India soon, but the product is already a big hit in South Korea.

"Our goal with LG Wine Smart was to create a Smartphone that fans of flip phones could embrace," said Chris Yie, vice president and head of marketing communications for LG Mobile Communications Company. "Consumers shouldn't have to miss out on the Smartphone revolution because they prefer a particular phone design over another. With LG Wine Smart, they won't have to."
