Iconic Nokia 3210 Returns with Modern Features and YouTube Integration in India
HMD Global, the company behind Nokia phones, has reintroduced the iconic Nokia 3210 in India, commemorating its 25th anniversary with a modern twist. Available in Scuba Blue, Grunge Black, and Y2K Gold, the Nokia 3210 is priced at Rs 3,999 and features YouTube and YouTube Music integration, along with a suite of eight apps including Weather, News, Sokoban, Cricket Score, 2048 Game, and Tetris.
Ravi Kunwar, VP for India & APAC at HMD Global, expressed that the Nokia 3210 holds a special place in people’s hearts as one of the best-selling phones of all time. He emphasized that its enduring legacy and iconic design make it the perfect candidate for a modern reimagining.
The Nokia 3210 also retains classic features such as the Snake game, a 2MP camera, and a flash torch. Notably, it includes a preloaded UPI application approved by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), enhancing its utility beyond just communication and entertainment.
In addition to the Nokia 3210, HMD Global launched two other devices: the Nokia 235 4G and Nokia 220 4G. The Nokia 235 4G boasts a large 2.8-inch IPS display, a 2MP rear camera, and is available in Blue, Black, and Purple colors, priced at Rs 3,749. Meanwhile, the Nokia 220 4G, featuring similar display specifications and UPI applications, is priced at Rs 3,249 and comes in Peach & Black color options.
These launches reflect HMD Global’s strategy to blend nostalgia with modern functionality, catering to a diverse range of consumer preferences in the Indian market.
