Google Nexus 7 Spotted in Indian Shopping Sites


Bangalore: Ever since this tablet was reveled at the Google I/O, the Nexus 7 has been a much anticipated as well as the most talked about. Previously we shared the news that Google has started shipping the tablet and also reported it will be delayed for official launch in India.

Before the official launch of the Google Nexus 7 in India, couple of online retail sites like IndiaTimes Shopping and eBay.in have listed the tablet for 16,952 and 17,690 respectively  for 8 GB model. But the official price of the Google Nexus 7 was $199 which roughly translate to 11,000 and the Indian retail shops have listed it for around 17,000.

The Nexus 7 is the first tablet to run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It sports 7 inch IPS touchscreen display with 1280x800 pixels of resolution. The tablet has a 1.2 MP front facing camera which can record 720p HD videos and comes in two storage capacities, 8GB and 16GB.

It is powered with quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1 GB of RAM and other features includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC (Android Beam) GPS for connective options. It is loaded with a powerful 4325 mAh battery which can give 9 hours of HD video playback, 10 hours of web browsing, 10 hours of e-reading and 300 hours of standby.
