If you want to insure your collectibles, you should know what your valuables are and what each item is worth. Prepare a list of each valuable with details of date of purchase and the cost. Take pictures of every piece and keep them in a secure location. Recently, if you have made any additions to your valuable then have a copy of those receipts. Keep a collection of the books that show the value for the type of items you collect, keep those handy to be able to back up your claim.
