Videocon to launch Android based tablet

Bangalore: Android has increased the market share, data usage and it is the hot topic in Indian market today. Yet another company has ventured into the Android market. Videocon mobile is planning to launch an Android based tablet for Indian consumer, reports mobile indian. There is not much information about the upcoming tablet but according to the sources it will be a 7 inch tablet which will run on Android 2.3 OS and if speculations are to be believed, it will soon be available in the month of July. The company, through a survey, found that 7 inch is the most acceptable size of tablet in India, and so they are opting for that size. Videocon had already explored the market of Android smartphone last year with its launch of Videocon Zeus. With another company adding up to the market, there might be a tough competition among the tablet makers. We have to wait and watch how Videocon is going to flare in the tablet war.
