Bangalore: Tattooing our bodies has been an age old culture since the time of the icemen. The practice of tattooing has different meanings in various cultures. Decoration was the most common motive for tattooing and that still holds true today. The tattooing culture has become a wide spread practice with the youth of India. One of the main reasons has been the imitation of celebrities who have inked their body. It is more of a fashion and style statement. Some say that the tattoos also depict their attitude. Inking is an art and since this is marked for a life time you need to be really careful of what you want. The latest buzz doing the rounds in the media is about the tattoo that Shah Rukh Khan sports in his upcoming movie Don2.The 'D' tattoo that will be seen on his arm, in the film, has been registered for copyright protection against his name. With the great deal of interest surrounding Shah Rukh's tattoo in 'Don 2', we take a look at the B-town stars that have got permanently inked. 1. Sanjay Dutt:

With at least five tattoos on him, Sanjay recently had the feel of the needles again for the six time for the two samurai soldiers. One soldier is inked in black and white, while the other is colourful and there are Japanese flowers falling over them. The two soldiers line up as one below the other on Sanjay's right arm. According to a source, these soldiers symbolise that all through his life the actor has fought like a samurai and was never bogged down by the hardships. As expected, the tattoo is done by Vishwas Dorwekar of Hakim Aalim's . Previously Hakim had inked Sanjay's parents' name on his chest. The 49- year old actor has also got the imprints of a Tibetan Om, his birth sign Leo as well as a red-inked tattoo of the numerical one (1), done on his neck.
