1. Christy Walton
Wife of late John Walton inherited her share of wealth after he expired in a plane crash in the year 2005. She made extra assets when her husband's investment in first Solar rose to nearly 500 percent in 2006 in the initial public offering. The mass amount also comes from her holdings in Wal-Mart, the largest chain stores started by her father-in-law Sam Walton and his brother James in 1962.
