JP Morgan launches JF ASEAN Equity off Shore
Bangalore: JP Morgan Mutual Fund has launched a new fund as JP Morgan JF ASEAN Equity Off - Shore Fund - an open-ended Fund of Funds scheme. The primary investment objective of the Scheme is to provide long term capital growth by investing predominantly in JPMorgan Funds - JF ASEAN Equity Fund, an equity fund which invests primarily in companies of countries which are members of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN). The New Fund Offer (NFO) will be open for subscription from June 10, 2011 and closes on June 24, 2011. The Scheme re-opens for continuous sale and repurchase from July 05, 2011. The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is Rs 10 per unit. Namdev Chougule is the fund manager. The schemes performance will be benchmarked against the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) South East Asia Index (Total Return Net). The investment objective of the scheme is to provide long term capital growth by investing predominantly in JPMorgan Funds - JF ASEAN Equity Fund, an equity fund which invests primarily in companies of countries which are members of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN). The initial application amount will be 5,000 per application and in multiples of Re. 1 thereafter. The Scheme may also invest a part of its corpus in money market instruments and / or units of liquid schemes to meet liquidity requirements from time to time.
