Indian version of reality show X Factor launched
Mumbai: Sony Entertainment Television today announced the launch of the Indian version of the singing reality show 'X Factor'. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and playback singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal will judge the show. "I don't know how to define X-factor. I feel they are those who can show their inner talent, has confidence and passion, can explore new things and fight failure. Amitabh Bachchan has X-factor...now how do I define his X-factor," Bhansali said. "My consent to be a judge of 'X Factor' is proof enough of my faith in the format, teams involved and the Channel. Music in India has gone beyond the boundaries of film music. So for all those singers, bands and musicians who are trying to give music a new expression the show will give them a platform to showcase their talent," Nigam said.
