Huawei to Launch MiFi Device for India


Bangalore: Huwei to launch its MiFi (My WiFi) device in India. It is basically a wireless router that can be connected to a mobile phone and provide internet access for up to 5 devices. The MiFi works at a distance up to 10 meter and will provide internet or network access to any WiFi enabled peripheral device. In India many telecom operators offers MiFi devices. Vodafone offers a 3G MiFidongle for 5500, Tata Photon similarly offers WiFi dongle at the price of 6000 and Beetel also offers such MiFi device for 5500. The biggest improvementin the Huawei MiFi device is that it will allow change of SIM card, and users can choose any operator SIM.The device expected to be priced at 4500. Moving further down the review, the Huawei MiFi wireless modem is a great device if you are on the go a lot with your Wi-Fi laptop or tablet. You can easily get it connected to your current 3G package if you own through your smartphone. This device can support speeds of up to 21.1 MBPS data connection. You can easily connect up to 5 devices on the modem. On the side you get an on/off switch which can help you save battery when the device is not in use. With its box, the Huawei modem comes with a charging cradle and a mains switch, you can easily show off your device by putting it on the cradle if you wish.
