Bangalore: Their dreams of becoming tomorrow's business leaders were shattered at the news of their institution's sudden shutdown, a blot from the blue that left the future of more than 500 students in grave jeopardy. The students were expecting their first semester results when the authorities of Training and Advanced Studies in Management and Communication (TASMAC) announced the closure of its educational establishment. U.K's new rules in terms of tier-4 student visas are said to be the major reason behind the closure of the educational institute. TASMAC was offering B.A. (Hons.) and MBA degrees. However, much to the relief of the students, the management said in a statement, "The university has been in discussions with other collaborative centres to arrange for the 650 students on University of Wales programmes to transfer to programmes at these institutions."
