Santa Clara: Santa Clara-based deal targeting platform, Spotzot has raised $2.2 million in series A round of funding led by Cervin Ventures, Inventus Capital Partners and TiE-Silicon Valley Angels. Spotzot plans to use the funds to accelerate the growth, and expand its sales, engineering, and operations.

Founded in 2009 by Bobby Jadhav and Sanjay Mittal, Spotzot enables brands to reach new customers displaying the promotions and coupons across shopping apps and sites. It sources both in-store and online promotions, and organizes, categorizes, and delivers them through free publishers. Bobby Jadhav, Co-Founder and CEO, Spotzot, has worked as the Chief of Design at Totelity Design Labs, as the CTO at Siterra, and CTSpace. He was also the Founder, President, and CTO at CalKey Technologies. He worked as an Architect and Manager at TAB Products, and Softcell Technologies. He worked as a Developer and Analyst at TCS. Jadhav did his BE in Electronics and Communication from the College of Engineering, Pune.
