Bangalore: Steve Jobs, no doubt was the most instrumental personality in creating the success stories for Apple, now anticipation are on roll as to what the future will propel for Apple. The question that pops up is who has the management's willingness to take calculated risks like Steve Jobs. Well, the answer is Apple's 5 musketeers that have gathered mammoth experience under the shadow of Steve's leadership and creativity. 1. Tim Cook
Tim Cook
Just six weeks before his death, Steve handed over the responsibility of CEO to Tim cook, whom he had taken on board in the year 1998. Tim Cook has been an integral part of Apple's inexplicable success as much as Steve has been. Cook is credited with pulling Apple out of manufacturing by closing factories and warehouses around the world. This helped the company reduce inventory levels and streamline its supply chain, dramatically increasing margins. His bewildering performance pushed him to become the COO of the company in the year 2007. October 4th was a very important day for Tim as it was his first project as the CEO of the company, the unveiling of iPhone 4S. The presentation was taking place while the company's co-founder, the man who was the inspiration for Apple, was in his final hours and Cook looked his dullest. However going by his achievements and guidance that Steve has imparted, Tim certainly has a lot to offer for the future of Apple. Before Apple, Cook spent six months at Compaq as VP for Corporate Materials. Prior to that, Cook served as the chief operating officer (COO) of the computer reseller division of Intelligent Electronics and spent 12 years in IBM's personal computer business as the director of North American Fulfillment.
