Bangalore:  How would you feel if the company you once refused to work for later went on to become the next big thing in the Silicon Valley? The feelings could range from regret to bitterness. But there is nothing that you can do once you miss the bus. Here is a list of 8 such unlucky techies who either quit or refused to work for promising startups that later went on to make billions. No surprises for guessing that most of them turned down Facebook and Instagram.

1. Ali Fedotowsky

Missed: Facebook

Ali Fedotowsky was hired by Facebook during its early days as a sales rep. She later went on to be a part of a famous American reality show in 2009. During the filming she ran out her vacation days in the company and was asked to either join work or quit. She chose to work for Facebook.
