De Vaartkapoen: Brussels
The statue is located outside Communauté Française building in Belgium. “De Vaartkapoen” is the name given to peole born in Molenbeek, a municipality. Literally "de vaart" means "the canal" and "kapoen" means cheeky. The statue shows a young rebel topples over a policeman higher up, thus overthrowing his authority.
