Google Generates $1 Billion From 5 Enterprise Products



Bangalore: It’s been Google for many years. Whatever question you ask, Google is your final answer. And to solidify that, reports say that 96% of Google’s revenue is from their ads. The enterprise platform, which is Google’s new venture, makes up the remaining 4%.

So what’s great in just 4%? Well the numbers don’t say that it’s just a mere 4%.  Google’s enterprise products grossed a whopping $1.37 billion for the web giants. With a 30% annual growth, this platform has around 1,200 employees which cover 3.6% of Google’s total headcount. With a 2,500 certified partners, like Accenture and Cognizant, Google is doing fairly well in enterprise platform.

1. Google Apps (Gmail and Google Drive):

A gala of several Google products that are made available in different customizable versions, that’s Google Apps for you. And the most interesting part is that all these apps are provided under the same domain name. Google Apps provide apps ranging from web applications to several traditional office applications. Google boasts that around 4 million customers are subscribed to Google Apps. Google Apps battle against Microsoft Office, IBM Lotus and startups like Zoho and YouSendIt.
