Two- Wheeler Sales Goes Up



Bangalore: It seems like the two wheelers are in more demand than the four wheelers as Indian two wheeler companies witnessed a rise in sales this quarter of the year.

Bajaj, Hero and TVS, the well known two wheeler brands have seen a growth in the sales. Hero MotoCorp reported its highest ever quarterly net profit of 603.62 crore which resulted their shares to go up by 5 percent to 2086.25.

Anil Dua, Senior Vice-President, Hero MotoCorp said, “It is indeed heartening to begin the new financial year with our best-ever monthly sales. We have made a good beginning with this strong performance and are pleased with the continuing trend of over half a million unit sales every month for the past nine months.”

Bajaj Auto, another major two wheeler manufacturer, also saw a 4 percent increase in their total sales and declared it as their highest sales with 6 percent growth at 342,324 units. But the company also made a statement mentioning that there was 13 percent decline in sales of commercial vehicles.
