Bangalore: The demand for small cars has risen rapidly in India and we can see many international car makers considering it a better idea to roll-out their fares in India to make the most of it. From the last year, the number of global car manufacturers are showing interest to give a tough competition to the current low priced best mileage cars like Maruti Alto, Chevrolet Spark and Hyundai EON etc, reports the rediff Business website.

1. Mitsubishi Mirage:
This is considered to be the 1st global small car platform will be firstly launched in Thailand by this month. This car is powered by a 1.2 liter petrol engine and it is said to deliver a significantly high fuel economy of up to 20 km per liter. The car is designed in a way so that it is focused on solidity, affordability and high fuel competence in order to fit the needs of the emerging market. The car is also designed in a way by keeping in mind easy drivability with a comfortable interior space. The starting price of this car is expected to be between Rs 3.5 lakh up to Rs 5 lakh and it may probably enter the Indian market by the month of July or September 2012.
