Bangalore: If someone connects the dots rightly in the UPA government is none other than the Senorita from Italy, Sonia Gandhi. She is one woman who dresses in an Indian cotton sari but thinks like the Napoleon of Italy. Branded as the controversy queen, Sonia Gandhi makes waves from her dressing style to her political actions. Everything about the lady makes us curious. One among them is her income. Income is not a question of trouble for these politicians, but how much they earn is trouble only when they have to file their Income tax before the prospective elections. During one such occasion of the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Sonia Gandhi had declared her income status. Here is the jest of that. Being the head of the National Advisory Council (NAC) and member of the parliament, most of Sonia Gandhi's income comes through her MP salary and some is through being the NAC member. According to a Times of India calculation, all MPs earn about 37 lakh annually which includes both income and prerequisites together after the recent salary hike in 2010.
