Bangalore: The celebrities earn a lot of money over the period of years of their career. They manage to become millionaires but sudden circumstances in their life lead to their downfall. Many are unable to handle this situation of crisis and slowly perish but few are able to deal with it and they rectify their mistakes and become more successful. Here are some celebrities who at some point on their lives faced a downfall.
Walt Disney
Walter Elias Disney who was popularly known as ‘Walt’ Disney was an American film Director, Producer, Screenwriter, Voice Actor, Animator, Entrepreneur etc. He was well known for his influence in the field of entertainment in the 20th century as he co-founded Walt Disney Productions along with his brother Roy O. Disney. Walt Disney Productions became one of the best known motion picture producers in the world and now it’s known as The Walt Disney Company with the annual revenue of $36 billion.
He was known as film producer and also an innovator in animation and theme park design as he and his staff created some of the world’s most well known fictional characters such as Mickey Mouse. He received four honorary Academy awards and won 22 Academy Awards out of the 59 nominations. Walt Disney also won 7 Emmy Awards and he gave his name ‘Disney’ to theme parks and resorts around the world like Disneyland, Walt Disney World Resort etc.
Walt died in 1966 due to lung cancer and after his death the construction of the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida began. Later in 1971 his brother Roy Disney inaugurated the magic Kingdom.
