Sony Launches Xperia Miro, Tipo and Tipo Dual

Bangalore: Sony is back with their new additions to their Xperia family. They have launched Xperia Miro, Xperia Tipo and Xperia Tipo Dual after an interesting Facebook campaign.

Sony announced on its official Facebook page that they would be launching three new handsets soon. To keep the people actively involved in the lead up to the launch they started a countdown clock with a fast forward button. Whenever anyone clicked on the fast forward button the time to the launch was reduced by few seconds. And because of this campaign Xperia Miro came out 9 days ahead of the actual launch date.

The Xperia Miro runs on Android 4.0. It has both a rear and front facing camera. The rear camera is 5 MP and the front facing camera is a VGA camera. It has a 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It runs on Snapdragon processor with 800MHz and has a RAM of 512 MB. It has internal memory of 3 Gb which is extendable up to 32 GB with a card.

The additional exciting feature of this phone is that the users can customize the illuminations. Integrating Facebook with the phone has become the norm of the day and Xperia has done just that.

Along with this, Sony has also launched two budget smartphones, the Xperia Tipo and Tipo dual. Both the phones operate on Ice Cream Sandwich. These phones are 3.2-inch and come with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. The Tipo dual allows the user to switch between the SIMs with just a single touch. The phones come with improved audio experience as they have used xLOUD technology.

The prices of the phones haven’t been released yet.
