Mind It! Karbonn Launching Rajnikanth Phones

Bangalore: To quote Rajinikanth from his 1999 movie Padayappa “En vazhi? thani vazhi”, which translates to “My way is a unique way.” Well that is true in the case of Rajnikanth. Everything he does becomes a style which is followed by people world over. Karbonn had decided to cash in on the superstars fame and for this they will come out with a special edition phones for the superstar’s upcoming movie Kochadaiyaan. For this Karbonn had partnered with Eros and Mediaone, who are the distributors of the film, to make five lakh phones.

Kochadaiyaan will be a hi-tech action adventure film. It is said that the movie will be on the same lines of James Camaron's Avatar and Spielberg's Tintin. This film also stars Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Sharat Kumar among others. This movie is slated to be released on 12.12.12 which also happens to be the superstar’s birthday.

The Kochadaiyaan mobile range will have exclusive screensavers and images from the film along with the official trailer of the movie with the signature tune. These phones are slated to be released in the market around the same time as the audio of the film is released in September/October.

The phone will also have Rajnikanth’s famous dialogues and acts. This is going to be any Rajinikanth fan’s dream come true. Apart from this the phone will also have the superstar’s autograph on both the front and the rear of the phone.

Promoting a film through gadgets is very common these days. The most recent such promotion was done for Shahrukh Khan’s RaOne. A tablet of the same name was released though it did not fare well in the market.

Keeping in mind Rajinikanth’s fan following even these five lakh phones might be too less!
