Acer launches Travelmate TM P243 Notebook

Bangalore: Targeting the SMB (Small and Medium Business) and SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) Acer India has launched a new notebook under its TravelMate series – Acer TM P243 at a price tag of 36000.

The TM P243 has enhanced multitasking capabilities and is powered with third generation Intel Core i processor with Turbo Boost Technology and Nvidia GeForce GT 630M graphic card. The notebook sports 14 inch high-definition LED backlit display with 16:9 aspect ratio and the company claims that it consumes less energy and saves more than 30 percent of power than tradition display.

It comes with Acer FineTouch keyboard for accurate and comfort typing. The keyboard features spill-resistant and features water drainage design. While the touchpad supports multi-gesture and superior control.

Furthermore, it comes with Acer’s unique suite for security and manageability solutions such as Acer ProShield Security and eRecovery Manager. It also comes with an option of Acer Office manager (AOM) which allows SMB to organize security policies, monitor IT assets and schedule maintenance tasks in one package.
